  • Orders can be placed directly through this website by simply adding an item to your cart and following the simple checkout steps. Almost all pieces are made-to-order upon receipt of payment, unless you’re choosing from the Ready to Ship page. Lead times range from 4 – 9 weeks depending on the complexity of the piece, and the current schedule of orders. Thanks for your patience; handcrafted jewellery is a labour of love!

  • If you need a piece rush-ordered, please contact Melissa with your specific request before placing your order. A rush can sometimes be accommodated but not always, and not with all pieces. If it is possible to accommodate, rush fees may be applied to cover shipping fees from vendors, overtime labor, etc. Fees depend on the design and turnaround time requested, so please be specific with your item request and exact deadline when inquiring. Link to the item, and also provide the finger size, metal color, and date needed.

  • Payment can be made using any major credit or debit card, e-transfer for Canadians, PayPal as well as financing through Paybright. Follow the simple steps at checkout to complete your order. Buyer agrees to pay immediately upon purchasing; if payment is not received, the order will be cancelled. Orders will not be shipped or started until the full balance is paid.

  • Melissa Caron’s jewellery is crafted with the utmost care, using the finest materials. If you are somehow dissatisfied with your order, please contact her as soon as possible. Happiness with your jewellery is top priority. Melissa prides herself not only on exceptional jewellery, but the best customer service as well. Please contact her directly with any questions or concerns.

    Non-Custom Jewellery: Any non-custom item in Ready To Ship category may be returned in its original condition for exchange only as long as it is posted back to me within 7 days of receipt. Prior authorization is required for all returns and exchanges. Pieces must be in the same condition as when they were received, and must be in original packaging with all cards, boxes, etc. included. Customers are responsible for return shipping with tracking and a signature upon delivery. After 7 days of receiving your order, all sales are final. Customers outside of Canada must use their federally run postal service with tracking (ie, USPS) for return shipping and clearly indicate that the package is a return. Private couriers charge brokerage fees and we will not be able to accept the package. Please contact me prior to returning an item for detailed instructions.

  • If you would like an appraisal with your jewelry please email melissa@melissacaron.com with your request (or write it in the note to the seller) and allow an extra 1.5 weeks for this process.

  • Unless specified as a one-of-a-kind, each design may be customized in your choice of white, yellow, or rose gold. The gemstones may be customized as well. Message melissa@melissacaron.com to learn more about individual pricing with different gemstones.

    Heirloom Re-Design-I take great pleasure in re-designing your sentimental family heirlooms. Once I’m able to take a close inspection of your pieces I’ll discuss what I’m able to melt into a new design. Once the design is complete I offer to purchase your remaining gold scrap for daily market value OR I’ll return the remainder. You will have one year to pick the remaining gold. I am unable to store this for you past that point, so please make your arrangements to pick up or turn into a new design!

  • It is very important to find out the correct finger size before ordering. Many pieces cannot be resized and would require a complete remaking of the piece. It is the buyer’s responsibility to indicate the correct size upon purchasing. If you need your ring resized, please confirm with Melissa that it is possible. Resizing is $120 and up per ring plus any cost of additional gold needed, plus shipping both ways. Due to the high volume of orders, resizing takes 2 weeks to complete after Melissa receives the ring.

  • All orders are shipped using FedEx with a tracking number and are insured until they arrive at their destination.** Please consider having a package sent to your place of business if you will not be home, as FedEx will leave the parcel at the door and this is where the insurance ends.

    Shipping within Canada: Fedex Service 2 business days

    Shipping outside of Canada: Fedex Service 2-5 business days

    Taxes: GST and PST are added within the province of B.C. For all other provinces in Canada only GST is charged. ***When ordering from outside of Canada please look into your country’s import taxes. I ship all over the world. Each country applies different taxes. Sometimes you get charged this tax with the delivery, other times a bill will come to you in the mail from Fedex.

    **Shipping to US: Duties and taxes may apply so please look into your country’s import duties to be prepared. Please note I am NOT responsible for delays at customs. Note also that all shipping providers have a disclaimer saying they are not responsible for delays at customs when crossing international borders.

  • Every design, with the exception of necklace chains, are warranteed for one year from date of purchase for any defects in materials or workmanship. The item may be returned for repair or replacement. Any modification or alteration by another jeweller will void the warranty. I suggest having either myself or a local goldsmith look at your settings once a year to check prongs, bezels and general wear and tear. I also suggest insuring your beloved jewellery in the case of theft, loss, or damage.
